Should I upgrade if I have Business Basic?
If you are happy using Microsoft 365 in the cloud and don’t require additional Microsoft-managed security for your devices then you can continue using it as is.
Is there a cost difference?
The cost will depend on the licences you are migrating from (x the qty). Microsoft currently allows the upgrading from Standard to Premium so you will just pay the difference on your current standard subscription for the remainder of your current term.
As many clients would no longer need a 3rd party security package, the net increase can be less than expected.
Can I upgrade some licences?
Yes, you add or upgrade as many licences as you want.
